We open a slammed-shut, unlocked door for 59 € during the day, for 79 € at night and for 99 € on Sundays and public holidays. Locked doors cost from 89 €, plus the lock cylinder if it needs replacing. All prices include VAT and travel within 10 kilometres; further out, our tier of 19 € to 59 € applies. We quote the binding price for your case on the phone, before we set off.
Do I always get the fixed price on the phone?
For straightforward door openings, yes: you hear the binding fixed price in the first call, before we set off. With damaged doors and in special cases we first assess the situation on site. Even then, you hear the fixed price before the work begins.
How fast can you be here?
We start directly from Schmalkalden, with no call centre and no detours. We give you a reliable arrival time for your location on the phone.
Will my door survive the opening undamaged?
Yes, in most cases. Slammed-shut doors are opened with special tools, without any damage to the door, frame or lock. Only if there is truly no other way, for example with some locked doors, the lock cylinder is removed. We tell you on the phone what to expect in your case.
Do I have to prove that I live there?
Yes, for your own protection. On site we check your ID or another proof, for example a rental contract or a letter addressed to you. If your documents are inside the flat, we sort it out together right after opening the door.

How do I recognise a trustworthy locksmith?
